GRAND MARAIS CREEK WRAPS
- Project Schedule

The timeline below shows the generalized work elements required to complete the WRAPS.  The red column highlights where the Grand Marais Creek WRAPS is within its overall project timeline.  Throughout the WRAPS' process public participation/civic engagement forms the only continuous component, illustrating how critical your involvement is to the process.

The Grand Marais Creek WRAPS and TMDL Reports have been completed. The WRAPS has been approved by the MPCA and the TMDL has been approved by the EPA. The reports are available on the MPCA website for the Grand Marais Creek Watershed.

Thanks to the Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has been able to provide the Red Lake Watershed District and other organizations with funding for watershed restoration and protection (WRAP) projects. The Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment has also recently funded the collection of additional data to guide assessment, restoration, and protection efforts through the surface water assessment grant (SWAG) for water quality monitoring projects.  See MPCA's Watershed Approach to Restoring and Protecting Water Quality.
